WordPress is definitely an upgrade from Blogger [note that there's no link—it's for your own good]. Still, there are issues now and again.
If you click the “Next Page” link at the bottom of the page, and continue to do so, you’ll find yourself on an endless search for anything other than this page. I have a sneaky suspicion that this is the result of using a home.php page for my top-level blog page, which I undertook so I could control the number of posts that show in this page separately from the other (e.g. archives, etc.) pages. I thought—given WordPress’s elegant construction and cascading of prioritization—that this would be a nice solution. It isn’t a nice solution if it creates another problem.
I’m not hot for either of the two options I know about to fix this: disabling the “Next Page” functionality; or deprecate my blog structure to only using the index.php for my main page.
I’ve tunneled through the WordPress forums to no great affect. Any ideas, folks? If so, check out the support topic, so everyone else can benefit, too.
